在校友录看到"毕业生简历被如此践踏"的新闻, 很有感触. 在国内找到一份称心的工作不容易. 企业需要好人才却招不到, 而不适合企业需求的知识分子又太多...

　　原来是在一个三轮车上，那么这些简历为什么被放在了这里？难道这个三轮车的车主是万分低调的老板？

　　车主原来是收废品的老人。老人手中又提了一袋简历过来。

　　这些简历有着求职大学生的多少心血啊。就这样被企业轻易丢人--当做废品丢弃！

　　还有人把自己重要的证件都压上了，真是莫大的悲哀

中国驾驶执照考试的雷人考题

今天看到一篇报道, 不知是真是假, 但是里面讨论的中国驾照考题真够雷人的! 举例如下:

1. 如果某人腹部受伤，肠子流了出来，你该怎样处理?
A.将它们塞回到他的腹内；
B.什么也不做；
C.用某种容器将它们扣住并用绷带把容器绑在伤者身上。

这道题的答案是C!


2. 驾驶者在开车中要吐痰时应该怎么做?

A.吐到车窗外；
B.吐到一张废纸里，然后把它扔进垃圾箱里；
C.吐到车内的地板上。 

答案是B!

实在想不通驾驶执照考试怎么会涉及到肠子问题...

中国政府控制媒体对中央电视台新大楼北配楼火灾的报道

中央电视台新大楼北配楼 (电视文化中心) 昨天发生火灾后, 我在网上试图找一些国内更详尽的报道, 结果没有什么收获. 我猜想是中国政府对媒体的报道有限制.  果不出所料, 今天看GIZMODO发现这方面的报道, 而且中央给各网站的文件通知都被报道出来.

Right now the official story is that the Mandarin Oriental, which was located at the top, caught fire from the myriad of fireworks set off to mark the Lantern Festival. Beijing usually bans the fireworks from its downtown area, but eases restrictions during the Spring Festival period (we really, really love our fireworks).

Dam construction might be the cause of Sichuan earthquake

According to this news from Telegraph UK, the devastating Sichuan earthquake that killed thousands of people could be triggered by the constructions of dam near the fault line.

The 511ft-high Zipingpu dam holds 315 million tonnes of water and lies just 550 yards from the fault line, and three miles from the epicentre, of the Sichuan earthquake.

Now scientists in China and the United States believe the weight of water, and the effect of it penetrating into the rock, could have affected the pressure on the fault line underneath, possibly unleashing a chain of ruptures that led to the quake.

This is a dare claim.  The Chinese government (of course) denies any correlation between the quake and the constructions of massive projects.  However, ..."some state researchers in Beijing have called for a full investigation."
