Bush and "THE Google"

You know, been a Canadian and trying to tell my colleagues and friends that Canada is not a part of the U.S. is not an easy task. However, one of the best proofs is that the Canadians would never vote Bush to be the president (or the Prime Minister in the Canadian way). This, of course, is an argument that can never be proved, even by a brilliant applied mathematician. Every American I talked to around my living circle told me they did not vote for him. But just HOW did he became a president after all?! ? Election!

Regardless, this article clearly tells you how much knowledge “the president” has about the modern technology. During a recent interview with MSNBC, he was asked if he ever googled anybody on “the internets” (Apparently, Bush used this term a couple of years ago), and the reply was,

“Occasionally…One of the things I've used on the Google is to pull up maps. It's very interesting to see that. I forgot the name of the program, but you get the satellite and you can -- like, I kind of like to look at the ranch on Google, reminds me of where I want to be sometimes. Yeah, I do it some.”

Oh, and by the way, for those of you who write emails to him ? forget about it, as the Mr. President “don’t want to receive emails”,

"I tend not to e-mail…Not only tend not to e-mail, I don't e-mail, because of the different record requests that can happen to a president. I don't want to receive e-mails because, you know, there's no telling what somebody's e-mail may -- it would show up as, you know, a part of some kind of a story, and I wouldn't be able to say, 'Well, I didn't read the e-mail'. 'But I sent it to your address, how can you say you didn't?' So, in other words, I'm very cautious about e-mailing."

Wah, I’m soooo impressed! I guess I can safely assume that he will never read my Blog because he probably does not know what a "THE Blog" is!
